How does Basic (Free) work?
Basic gives you the entire app — portfolio, cashflow, multi-market rules, property management and personal finances — including AI: 5 Stackhold Assistant (Cockpit) messages and 1 Stackhold Strategy run every calendar month. You only pay if you want a much larger AI quota or the Founder / Enterprise perks.
What do I get with Pro?
Everything in Basic, plus a much larger AI quota (500 Cockpit messages and 30 Stackhold Strategy runs every month), an ad-free experience, priority support, and a 7-day free trial. Pro is monthly or yearly — yearly saves about 25% and includes the same trial.
What is the Founder tier and how is it different from Pro?
Founder is a limited cohort. You get everything in Pro plus a direct line to request features that get built into Stackhold, lifetime price-lock (yearly), and a Founder badge inside the app. Yearly is NZ$99 / year and locks the price in for life as long as your subscription stays active; monthly is NZ$12.99 / month for a no-commitment way to join the cohort, but does not include the lifetime price-lock perk.
When does the Founder cohort close?
We're capping the Founder cohort at a fixed number of subscribers (yearly + monthly combined). Once it's full the Become a Founder button switches to a waitlist for Pro yearly. Existing yearly Founders keep their price-lock indefinitely.
What does Enterprise include?
Everything in Pro and Founder, plus the ability to white-label the app for your firm or clients, build custom integrations, and have specific features prioritised on the roadmap. Pricing is based on scope — get in touch for a quote.
Is there a free trial on Pro?
Yes — Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly both include a 7-day free trial. Founder skips the trial because the price is already a heavy discount on Pro yearly.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Change plan any time from Settings inside the app. Switching from monthly to yearly prorates immediately; switching the other way takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How does multi-currency work?
You can browse pricing in NZD, AUD or USD using the currency switcher above the cards. Stripe charges in the currency of the price you pick at checkout — your card issuer handles any conversion as usual.
What happens to my AI quota when the month rolls over?
Quotas reset at the start of every calendar month. Unused messages do not roll over.
Do you offer a refund?
Yes — we offer a 14-day refund on Pro Yearly and Founder purchases if you haven't relied on AI-generated plans during that window. Just email us.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit and debit cards via Stripe on the web. Native iOS and Android billing will be added when the mobile apps land.
Do you offer discounts for mortgage brokers / accountants?
Yes. If you're a NZ / AU / US mortgage broker, financial adviser or accountant, talk to us about partner pricing and the ability to share workspaces with clients.
